About B4 Limits

Company

B4 Limits Sp. z o.o. is a Polish manufacturer of radio frequency jamming systems, headquartered in Białystok and incorporated on 12 June 2019. The company designs, develops and produces the Defender line of jamming equipment for counter-UAS, correctional facility and telecommunications applications. All Defender products are designed and manufactured in Poland.

Mission

Trusted Jamming Solutions for Defense and Security Operations

Since 2015, B4 Limits (B4L) has developed FPGA-based jamming solutions for defense and security applications. Our engineering team holds advanced degrees in RF engineering and signal processing. We are a registered NATO supplier (NCAGE 99YVH) and have delivered jamming systems for incarceration facilities and counter-UAS operations. Every Defender unit undergoes rigorous field testing before deployment.

Background

Since 2015, the B4L team has been actively engaged in the development of jamming technologies for external partners, gaining practical experience across a wide range of systems and platforms used by NATO-aligned forces, as well as other high-profile security units and VIP protection environments. This exposure has provided the company's team—comprising highly qualified engineers, including PhD-level specialists—with deep insight into real-world operational requirements, including those observed in Ukraine, particularly in relation to jamming performance under combat conditions.

Building on this foundation, B4L initiated the development of its own proprietary solutions in 2021. This effort culminated in the launch of the Defender line in 2024—a fully Polish-designed and manufactured family of real-time, wideband reactive jamming systems. The Defender product line is primarily focused on counter-UAS applications, as well as deployments in prison security and telecommunications signal control. All Defender systems achieve maximum jamming rates of 27,500 hops per second in reactive mode and 55,000 hops per second in semi-reactive mode.

B4L has consistently demonstrated superior performance in competitive and operational environments, achieving notable success in multiple peer-evaluated exercises and trials:

  • Anakonda ’24 - Successfully countered loitering munitions, outperforming competing systems (4 jammers evaluated)
  • NATO NCIA Baltic Trust '25 - Unofcially ranked first among 16 competing jamming solutions in realistic comparative testing
  • NATO ACT Innovation Continuum 2026 - Selected as one of five Electronic Warfare finalists from a pool of 27 applicants
  • Tarcza Wschód Trials ’26 (Polish Eastern Shield / Drone Wall initiative) - Unofcially ranked first among eight major international electronic warfare competitors

The company’s inclusion in the NATO ACT Innovation Continuum 2026 highlights the strategic relevance of its technological advancements and confirms that its solutions contribute to shaping next-generation standards within NATO operational and technological frameworks.

Team

Founded on June 12, 2019, B4L has grown into a team of over 30 engineers, with 18 specialists directly dedicated to the development of the Defender product line. The company's engineering approach combines extensive laboratory research with rigorous real-world field testing, ensuring high reliability, operational effectiveness, and continuous feedback from field operators. The company also acknowledges with appreciation the valuable input provided by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, whose frontline feedback has contributed to system refinment.

Scope of work

B4 Limits develops jamming systems where field evidence supports reliable performance. The company does not produce product categories — including hand-held jamming devices — for which operational effectiveness is not adequately demonstrated.
